    COMPUTER SKILLS

We are planning in such a way that every child who goes through Harshton Junior School leaves with basic skills and knowledge of the computer. Computer lessons shall be offered by the school right from pre-primary to primary seven.
The school computer laboratory shall be well stocked with modern computers and instructors who will ably conduct lessons with the best facilitation. This will give pupils a competitive advantage when they join secondary schools where computer knowledge is examinable at the national level.

They will be able to learn how to prepare different types of dishes some which are prepared for commercial purposes or class projects.

    Tailoring

The school is further planning to instill tailoring skills in learners. Tailoring involves needle work where learners will use their hands and sewing machines to draft different patterns depending on what item is to be made. They will learn to make sanitary towels, dresses, aprons, skirts, petty coats, sweaters and many others.
Apart from sewing or mending their clothes, they will gain knowledge of how to be self-reliant. These skills will prepare children to be future entrepreneurs as they will acquire income generating skills.
